Last year we had an assignment about creating our own creative manifesto; a brief that let us design and express how we viewed design and life and what it meant to us.
While researching I came across the Holstee Manifesto which I am still obsessing about. It makes perfect sense and completes me. (apologies if you have been on the Holstee Manifesto Bandwagon longer than I have). Since then I've become a big advocate for positive thinking...if only I could put it into practise hehehe. I have currently just ordered the manifesto print and I can't wait to get it and read it everyday...it is also my computer desktop...hello positive thinking creep :)
I thought it would be a lovely inspirational Thursday picture as I begin my weekend of internships, uni work, and catching up with old friends and mothers day.
Enjoy the positive vibes and the weekend xx
Holstee Print found here, go. NOW.

Believe Me When I Say...
If you haven't heard of Real Estate then welcome.
I heard them a little while ago and today as I have been hacking away at my Studio Assignment they came up on my iTunes and for a whole 2minutes and 48seconds I dreamt of summer in this horrible Autumn weather.
If this doesn't get you excited for summer...well then I am sorry but I guess I can't help you there, look elsewhere kind sir.
It's the tune I fell in love with and then I watched the video and fell in love even more with them as they are true dog lovers...although if you are like me and hate eye balls, then minimise the window around the 1:30 mark. Eye balls everywhere EW.
Enjoy Summer my American lovers.

May The What
It can't be May, it just can't.
May is the fifth month, the month of so many birthdays - my mothers and James' included and it means that James has been gone for a total of NINE, yes nine months. (Stephy I am FINALLY nearly catching up to you hehe)
Honestly time has gotten away and it wasn't until the other day I got a text from my good friend saying 'We've got to get you ready...write a good ol' dear john blog post. Love you' It's friends like these who send little cute reminders that make this busy world a little better :)
Where do I even begin?
It was James' oldest brothers wedding a couple of weekends ago now and I was a little afraid of going because the person I was going for (James) wasn't going to be there. I really was freaking out. I don't go to things alone, let alone a wedding, hello loser. But false, the joke was on me because I forgot how wonderful his family is and even though James wasn't there they didn't forget about me which was lovely.

Charlie, James' younger brother and I at the wedding. Charlie appreciates One Direction with me, I may call him Louis.
So wedding, CHECK.
I also have an incredible chance to intern at an AMAZING interior design firm since last, last friday. Designers in the City. Sonia and Jacinta and two incredibly talented ladies with B.A design ideas and are simply divine. Check out their amazing office.
Intern, CHECK.
Uni work - kill me :( It's what I am suppose to be doing right now...haha whoops.
Other than that I honestly have been insanely busy and I feel horrible as I didn't mean to leave all your wonderful Bloggers for so long! So here's to, March April and May and the adventures I had.
Found this cute little guy in a shop down the road from Uni with Corrinna and Lizzie!
A day at my Dad's house watching the boys play Polo.
Meet honestly, the coolest brothers ever. Aidan aka AIDS. He makes me want to be a better person, he is so kind and gentle, he is such a genuine person - for sure one of my heroes in life.
Wedding Attire.
A night out with my Uni Besties, Lizzie and Corrinna.
It's also James' birthday this month...oh no what should I do? Any ideas girls?
Hope you all had a wonderful week and plan on hearing more from me xx

Eye Brow Raising.
...I feel this post should be me begging you all not to hate me for my absence. If you guys are on instagram - I am never absent from that follow me!
Life has been floating along - I've actually NOT been motivated to do anything. I had tonsillitis last week. Uni brings out the worst in me!!
This weekend has been really fun and I got to catch up with a lot of old friends which was lovely.
My family is best friends with another family, the Thomas family. Our families work out pretty well. I swear our parents organised the gender order for the kids. The oldest kids are all us girls, Erin, Sheridan, Jordan and I. And the youngest kids are the boys, Lachlan, Aidan and Nathaniel.
Well the first youngest boy, Lachlan, is going on his mission to the Marshal Islands on
Thursday!! He is going to have the most amazing time ever - despite his disgust in any food made with fish and the fact that he is researching how the island he is going to is sinking. Good luck Lachie! Friday night was his tropical farewell party.

My Bestfriend Jordan T.

I also went to my first NRL game this weekend with my lovely friends Erin and Angela. If you are an Aussie I feel you will understand what I mean when I say - I'm an AFL fan and therefore I despise NRL (the poor man's rugby - yeah I went there) but Erin has changed my views completely. While I may not understand the rules completely - she scored us front row seats, right behind where the players on the bench sit and my eyes have been opened.
The Poor Man's Rugby may have the rudest fans in the world, I only heard swear words for most the game, but let me tell you one thing...NRL players are the most attractive men I have seen. And the best part - THEY are just walking around the stadium - NBD.
Meet Erin and Ange first.

It decided to rain five minutes before the end of the game, Angela predicted this and despite our dislike for the swear jar lady 2 seats next to us, her lovely friend gave us an umbrella.

So we watched Penrith Vs Souths - and hello I should have known Penrith fans would be intense. But alas the bunnies won, YAY. Meet the hotties...well their backsides haha...we were THAT close to their hotness.

The next picture may just make you want to pack up and move here and fall in love with the poor mans rugby. Unfortunately he isn't Australian - he is British. But his name is Sam Burgess and he is going to marry Erin. Angela yelled out and waved, and he looked our way and smiled and gave her the EYE BROW RAISE. Yeah he did. He's such a HOTTTIE!

Unfortunately it's back to reality and day dreaming about the Burgess Brothers...yes there is more than one. There's plenty to go around haha - I hope you all have been having a great week and to my MG's - it's monday here so tomorrow is your Mexican Monday - enjoy it girls
xx
